Museo Diocesano di Arte Sacra
The Museo Diocesaono di Arte Sacra occupies the ancient Romanesque cloister (the only example of its kind in Venice) of Sant' Apollonia.
The eponymous Benedictine monastery was founded in the thirteenth century. The museum houses sacred works of art salvaged from many of the city's lost churches and scuole. The cloister can be visited on its own for a reduced fee (€2). |
