San Silvestro
The church of San Silvestro is said to have been founded in the 9th century. It was rebuilt in 1422, restored in the 17th century and rebuilt yet again, in the Neo-classical style, between 1837 and 1843. The facade wasn't completed until the first decade of the 20th century.
The interior comprises a single, spacious nave (lined with side altars) and a semi-circular apse. |
