San Beneto

According to Lorenzetti, the church of San Beneto (San Benedetto or Saint Benedict), was founded in the 11th century and conceded by Pope Gregory IX, in 1229, to the monks of Brondolo.

In 1540 its campanile collapsed, seriously damaging the church. San Beneto was duly rebuilt (architect unknown) between 1619 and 1685.
