Sant' Andrea della Zirada

A church and a monastery dedicated to Saint Andrew were founded in 1329 on a site called 'cao de zirada'. Sant' Andrea della Zirada was rebuilt in 1475 and its interior was refurbished again in the 17th century. The church was closed on the orders of Napoleon and its monastic buildings were demolished.
The church, which comprises a single nave with four side altars, retains its beautiful barco. On the exterior, the portal is surmounted by a fine 15th century Gothic relief.
