My name is David Lown M.A. and I am an art historian and writer from Cambridge, England. For more years than I care to remember it has been my pleasure to bring to life Venice's long, rich and endlessly fascinating history through lectures, seminars and walking tours. 

Since 2001 I have been living in Italy where, in addition to Venice, I also run private tours of Florence and Rome.
